What motivated you to create your jewelry brand?
I created the Capucine Arnoux jewelry brand a few months ago. A brand that bears my name. It was, initially, a career change. And I wanted to create things with my hands, and imagine collections, jewelry collections, since everyone wears jewelry today, and I wanted to be part of that.
Which piece, in your opinion, embodies the Capucine Arnoux spirit?
The piece of jewelry that best embodies the Capucine Arnoux brand is this necklace, the "Sur le fil" necklace. It's a necklace designed like a large, perfectly imperfect chain. No circle is perfectly a circle. And that's what I also love about everyday jewelry. It's a piece I like to wear with a very simple outfit or with a little twist, with another more colorful piece of jewelry. It's my favorite piece, it's the brand's first piece.

How does the creation process unfold?
Once I have the collection imagined in my head, I start with brass, which is the basis of my work. I draw wire, I file, I saw, I cut, I braze, meaning I'm going to solder the pieces, and I form the pieces that correspond to the entire collection I've imagined. Once they are completely finalized with the brass, I send it to my plater in Paris, who plates it with 18-karat gold, 3 microns thick, which is a fairly thick gold, allowing for jewelry that lasts over time.
How do you find inspiration for your collections and their names?
To imagine a collection, I always start with a word. A word I found in a book. I love starting from a word, then drawing images from it, making drawings, and arriving at a collection that will tell the story of that word, that emotion. And all collections are designed as emotions, always around a feeling that particularly drives me, which is the feeling of love. We have the "Frisson" collection, the "Premier regard" collection, the "Première danse" collection... And each time, these are references to all this feeling of love that connects us daily.

What sensation or emotion do you seek to transmit to the person wearing your jewelry?
The emotion I would like to convey through my jewelry is lightness. It's something I'm told a lot; they are very light, airy pieces of jewelry, but at the same time, they have a real presence. So it's almost about wearing ornaments, and embracing wearing these ornaments that are sometimes imposing, to express a style in a very discreet and elegant way.
