How was C10 Studios born?
C10 Studios is something I've wanted for a long time; I really wanted to have something of my own in the fashion industry. And last year, I was finally able to start this new project, this new adventure, and I'm really thrilled about it.
Why did you name your brand C10 Studios?
It's something very emotional and familiar to me because in my hometown, my mother lives on a street that starts with a C, and 10 is her house number. Knowing that she is one of my greatest inspirations, I really wanted to link the brand to my origins and my family.
This project is inspired by your mother. What is the first clothing memory you associate with her?
Since I was very young, I used to go into her closet and try on different things. My mother always gave me a lot of freedom to experiment and try different things, so that's definitely one of the best and earliest memories.
What is your absolute fashion essential, the piece you could wear your whole life?
It's undoubtedly the first piece we launched: a long skirt, perfect in any season, day or night. I like feminine clothes, but not always, and not only feminine. I think this kind of skirt is both feminine, classic, and comfortable for everyday wear, which is very important to me.
What elements fuel your creativity?
As I said before, of course my mother and my family. But also, all the people I see around me. When I think of new styles and new designs, I always try to imagine my clothes on my mother and I have three sisters, so on my sisters and on different types of girls and women.
What is your dream for C10 Studios in the coming years?
It's to grow, but while remaining consistent with our objective and our values in terms of sustainability, in terms of wearability, meaning creating clothes for everyone, not something for a special occasion. It's a kind of everyday, every-evening wear. And also to meet more people, as I really enjoy doing, I love digital commerce, but at the same time, I like to be present and meet our customers in person.
