Celana jewelry was born from my passion for stories, my Greek heritage, and my love for jewelry. I enjoy creating timeless pieces inspired by mythology, imbued with hidden meanings, destined to be passed down through generations.
How does mythology inspire you?
When I was a child, my parents and grandparents would read me stories about Greek mythology. So I have a deep connection to all these fascinating stories and characters. Consequently, when I'm working at my workbench, I have a specific character in mind, and I create each piece from my own perspective.
Which piece from your collection best embodies the magic of Celana Jewellery?
If I had to choose, I would pick the Amfitriti ring. It's inspired by the Greek goddess of the sea. It's a magnificent sculptural ring adorned with two synthetic sapphires. The sapphires represent the mystery and beauty of the ocean and truly make it stunning.
If you could offer one of your pieces of jewelry to a goddess or a modern woman, which would it be and why?
Well, I would choose the Mneme necklace. In Greek, Mneme means memory. The Mneme necklace is a beautiful chain. It symbolizes our most cherished memories, reflecting the deep connection between our past and who we have become today.
What role does sustainability play in your brand identity?
Sustainability is at the heart of Celana jewelry. I consciously choose to work with recycled silver. I collaborate with a small foundry near my workshop. It is essential for me that my pieces last forever and can be passed down.
What's the next big chapter for your brand?
The goal is to expand internationally, pursue collaborations, and add a new collection made from recycled gold, featuring precious and semi-precious stones.
