Who are you and why RÆV?
I'm Apolline Fuchs, and I've always loved cashmere and its cozy feel, but it's true that when I went out to dinner in the evening, I didn't find it desirable or sensual. When you go out and want to wear a stunning outfit and feel pretty, cashmere isn't what comes to mind: that's where the idea came from!
The unique detail of your designs?
Cashmere brands are always very classic: even if they try to stand out with flashier colors, what about the cuts? This is where RÆV stands out: we wanted to create cuts that enhance femininity.
Your favorite color?
Raspberry, especially for sunny days. Even if I don't wear it often, I find it sensual, elegant, and soft: all the values of RÆV.
Your favorite place in Paris?
I don't really have a favorite place; for me, it's more about a time of day: when Paris awakens. I go running in the morning along the quays, and it's truly a moment when I feel free and like I have wings!
