How did Trenta7 come about?
My brand was born in 2012. After graduating with a degree in psychology, I felt the need to embark on a more creative project. I wanted to create a product that reflected me, and more specifically a unique shoe with a strong identity.
How did you get started?
After my degree in psychology, I decided to fully invest myself in an artistic project. That's when I made the decision to create my own shoe brand and dedicate myself to this universe that I am passionate about.
What's your favorite part of your job?
What I prefer is the search for raw materials. I don't follow current trends: I mostly trust my instinct. I chose the leather, materials and colors that I really love, those that I would like to see on my future creations.
What is the philosophy of Trenta7?
The philosophy of Trenta7 is to bring together the masculine and feminine universes. Through my models, I try to create feminine shoes that feature details inspired by men's wardrobes.
Three adjectives to describe your brand?
Refined, timeless and recognizable.
How did your collaboration with Madonna come about?
This collaboration came about through an incredible stroke of luck. Madonna's stylist discovered my shoes, particularly the Mary model, in a magazine and contacted me directly. At first, I thought it was a joke, I thought it was impossible for them to be genuinely interested in my work. I finally sent the model to Los Angeles, and Madonna wore it throughout her entire Madame X tour in Europe. For me, it was a huge dream come true.
Three designers who inspire you?
First, Giorgio Armani. I can't not mention him. For me, he represents a great source of inspiration for his unique way of combining refinement and balance between masculine and feminine.
Then, Jil Sander, for her contemporary style, her mastery of essential lines, and her ability to create pieces that are both minimalist and extremely refined.
Finally, Moschino, for his elegance mixed with irony, and for his very personal way of telling fashion stories.
