What made you want to found La Libellule?

The desire came to me when I became a mother, like a dream of elsewhere. A need to create a bubble of freedom, softness, and elegance. I have always seen La Libellule as a symbol of lightness and transformation; it moves forward despite the wind, dances with the light. La Libellule is all about that: a beautiful escape, a tribute to free and self-assured femininity.

How does architecture help you in the creation of your pieces?

Architecture taught me balance, rigor, and harmony. Designing a swimsuit is like designing a space: you think about volumes, curves, and lines that enhance. Each model is born from an intention, almost like a structure sculpted to serve the body, movement, and light.

Is there a place, object, or work that embodies the world of La Libellule?

I would say a white house on a cliff, facing the Aegean Sea. A place where the wind sings, where the sky and water merge. It is in these landscapes, both powerful and peaceful, that the universe of La Libellule takes root: between strength and subtlety, nature and creation.

If you had to choose a brand muse, who would it be?

It would be a woman who doesn't need to say everything to be heard. A radiant woman, curious about the world, resilient, and free. She could be an artist, a mother, a traveler, or a dreamer. In reality, she might be a little bit of all of us at once.

If your brand had a personality, what would it be like?

It would be intuitive, luminous, and audacious in its gentleness. A benevolent soul who believes in beauty, durability, and sensitivity. It is not afraid of silence or winding paths. It moves forward with heart, driven by a sincere desire to do things well.

And tomorrow?

Tomorrow is a promise. I would like La Libellule to continue to grow, to open up, to dare. I want to explore beachwear differently, with more meaning, more presence. Tomorrow, it might be a collection designed with other women, a human adventure that goes beyond clothing. But always with the same intention: to offer beauty, truth, and a little freedom.
