Hello, my name is Mathilde and I am the creator of Bouchba.
What inspired you to create Bouchba?
I've always had a passion for shoes since I was little, especially comfortable shoes: be it mules or babouches. Also, I spent a lot of time in Morocco when I was little, so I've always been immersed in this product.
The unique characteristic of your designs?
The unique characteristic of Bouchba is that I take the traditional babouche and its manufacturing technique to create much more urban designs. I add a sole, while maintaining the traditional comfort of the classic babouche.
Your favorite piece?
My favorite piece is definitely the model made from suede leather with turquoise stones and silver studs. In my opinion, it's truly the model that best represents my style.
What is your bestseller?
Bouchba's bestseller is the denim model: it's a huge hit, and I love the fact that all the denim used for this model is sourced vintage.
A tip for wearing your pieces?
I love wearing them with Bermuda shorts. I think it really highlights the product. It also gives the shoe a much more fashionable and trendy look.
The next big step for Bouchba?
The FW 25 collection, which is currently being released, is the first winter collection. I have a new model that I am very proud of, all in fur, made with skins from large luxury brands' tanneries. The quality is incredible, and I think the model is really successful. I can't wait for you to discover it!
